Hope is the horse that started this organization. She was found tied to a tree with a dog chain. After getting the county involved Hope was signed over to our care. She was given a 50/50 chance of survival.
Her teeth were in such bad shape she could not close her mouth properly. She was missing 12 teeth. After a good teeth floating and some care she looked great! It is amazing what a little bit of care can do.
After Hope was healthy we let her go to one of our foster homes so we could make room for more horses. They fell in love with her and adopted her. She passed in May 2010. She went peacefully and knowing what love was. Hope made a huge difference in my life and the lives of many. She will be missed.
Hope was in her late 20’s and missing 12 teeth. There is no excuse for a horse being poor. All it took to get Hope looking great was some care.
