Rescue to hold 2015 Help a Horse Day event

HelpaHorse_graphicBring the family and spend a day on the farm as Hope Equine Rescue hosts an event for ASPCA’s Help a Horse Day, on April 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is the third annual Help a Horse Day by the ASPCA – a national effort on behalf of unwanted, abused and neglected horses and those who care for them.

The event will feature buggy rides, gift bags for the first 50 attendees, raffles, seminars, barn tours and a tack sale.

Take a barn tour to see what the staff at Hope Equine Rescue does on a daily basis, at 10 am, 11am, Noon or 1pm.

Seminars will include:

10:30 am – How to Take Your Horse’s Vitals

11:30 am – Saddle Fitting

12:30 pm – What to Do in an Emergency Until a Vet Arrives

1:30 pm – Horse 101 for First Time Horse Owners

Vendors will also be on-hand to talk to attendees. Food and drink available.

No registration is required and there is no fee to attend. Event will take place, rain or shine.
